The APMA Facebook site www.facebook.com/apma4u has operated on a moderated basis since 2011. The site has developed a large community of friends across the country (and internationally) and has in excess of 3,000 likes. The site has conducted a number of competitions, publicises APMA events and services and enables large numbers of people living with pain to access latest news, videos and links as well as regularly communicating with each other. Like the site and join the conversations.
APMA's Twitter account @yourAPMA is used to publicise events, latest news and breakthroughs in the world of pain management, pain research and self-management. Become a follower for breaking news.
APMA's limited resources have to date restricted our ability to take advantage of YouTube. We would welcome volunteers interested in publicising experiences of living with pain, self-managing pain, experiences of the the health system and other aspects of chronic pain. We encourage you to discuss creating and uploading video resources and content onto our site, which can be found here.
