Choosing a pain management team

What is TENS?

Dr Stephanie Davies is on the APMA clinical advisory committee and is a pain medicine specialist at the Fremantle Hospital, WA.

Dr Steph has kindly allowed us to put these documents on our website. This is of great assistance to all individuals with persistent/chronic pain to see the type of information that may be required when you attend a pain management clinic. The Fremantle booklet provides a clear overview of pain medication. The multidisciplinary health team at Fremantle have two programs: STEPS and PUMP which combine medical approaches with active self management to develop skills such as appropriate exercise, paced daily activity and relaxation to take home and continue for the management of persistent pain.
