Annual General Meeting 2012

APMA’s 2012 Annual General Meeting will be held on Tuesday 27 March 2012 starting at 6.00pm in the Boardroom (Executive Offices) of the St Vincent’s Hospital, Level 1, 411 Main Street, Kangaroo Point. All members are invited and encouraged to attend. Free parking is available after 5.00 pm at the St. Vincent’s Hospital carpark.

Under the APMA Rules of Association, elections for all positions on the Committee of Management will be held for the following year (until March 2013):

  • President;
  • Vice-President
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary;
  • Up to four committee members.

Nomination forms have been sent to all members, and nominations close at 5pm on Tuesday 16th February 2012. A list of candidates and candidate statements will be circulated to members as soon as possible after the close of nominations, in the event that there are more nominations than vacancies and an election is required to be held.

Members who cannot attend the AGM but wish to vote in the election of the Committee of Management can do so by providing a proxy voting form. Under the APMA Rules of Association, completed proxy forms must be received by the Returning Officer seven days before the AGM in order to be valid.

Agenda items will include:

  • Committee of Management report for 2011;
  • Financial Report 2011;
  • Auditor’s Report 2011;
  • election of Committee of Management;
  • appointment of auditor;
  • any other items notified to the Secretary by 16 February 2012.
